Bio.
Shannon is an Ordained Metaphysical (Spiritual) Minister, Teacher & Advisor. As a ‘Wellness Personality’ & Speaker with over 8000 hours of teaching and fifteen years of experience, she holds space for transformation in various classes, workshops, & trainings around the world. She has worked with thousands of clients and has touched the lives of many. Shannon has been trained in many different healing modalities and chooses to teach a very traditional yogic practice to facilitate and hold space for one’s direct connection to source energy and their higher self. She has trained multiple teachers through her Yoga Alliance Certified (RYS-200/500) School, along with multiple Reiki Masters around the globe. As a Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (ERYT-500) and Chopra Centre Meditation (PSM) Instructor; Shannon shares her passion for healing, while celebrating the inter-connectedness of body, mind and Spirit. As host of her own podcast, Dialed In, Shannon shares her own healing experience, along with interviewing experts, doctors, and healers from around the world on how they “Dial In” to their higher self.
Shannon has had the opportunity to study in person with Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Sadhguru, Kriota Wilburg, Karl Straub, Rodney & Colleen Yee, Sean Corne, David Newman (Durga Das), & Manorama, Richard Miller, Gabor Mate, William Rand, Elders & Shamans from around the world, (among others), and balances her studies with a devoted personal practice. She has spent extended time on multiple occasions at Yasodhara Ashram in Canada and the Institute of Inner Sciences (Isha Ashram) in Tennessee. She is a member of the International Metaphysical Ministry and shares her knowledge through Satsangs, teachings & educational programs. Shannon holds space by incorporating ceremony and ritual (rooted in ancient tantric practices) into her teachings so that her students are able to transition deeper into their highest self.
As a corporate business professional & consultant of 20 years, and a humanitarian at heart, she has worked with multiple major corporations including over 88 charities, raising millions for those in need (including cycling across the Canada and US to raise funds for the Red Cross). She has hosted multiple on-air events, notably for TSN, and has interviewed the likes of Elvis Stojko, Rick Hansen, David Joyner, Kurt Browning, Chantal Kreviazuk, Biff Naked, Josh Duhamel, Paul Stamets, Dennis McKenna, Duncan Trussell, Chris Kilham, and Rick Doblin just to name a few. As Miss Canada, Shannon self-funded tours across Canada and the US speaking to children in schools on the importance of “inner beauty”, finishing her tour by wearing a dress made of burlap on the red carpet at the Grammy awards, to prove that beauty comes from within. Shannon has studied Science (Microbiology & Immunology) at the University of Saskatchewan and Queen's University (Health Sciences), Business at MIT, and Higher Education Teaching at Harvard.
